This year, the UK based Churches Advertising Network is running a great competition to re-tell the Christmas story in 30 seconds!
The network has made a couple of brilliant versions, including a football (soccer) match and a horse race to give you some ideas!
Well I thought it would be fun to have a go, so here’s my entry. I call it ‘A Lesson in Seven Carols’:

whychristmas?com and me (James!) are members of the Merry Network. This year, all the webmaster of the network have deiced to help Santa out and have set a goal to raise $1000 to help a family for Christmas 2008.
There’s a special site for the project and appeal called Santa’s Sleigh. So if you’d like to know more, please head over there. There’s also a widget on the whychristmas?com homepage and the sidebar of this blog so you can keep up to date with how it’s going and also make a donation!
Using the resources of the professional Santas of Clausnet.com we will work to find a family we can help Santa serve this holiday season.

Ishmael (or Ish to his friends!) is a wonderful man at the forefront of kids ministry and music. He had a big influence on my when I was younger (I’m three times glorie, a badge of honour if your ‘of an age’!).
